Is it better to donate food or make a monetary donate?

Both are greatly appreciated and essential to our mission.

Monetary donations are used to purchase food from Second Harvest, Wal-Mart and Hy-Vee.  It also helps pay for utilities and building maintenance.

Food donations help keep our shelves stocked all year round with a variety of items.

How much do you charge for items?

Items are free of charge.  The amount given is based on the size of the family.

How many families do you serve?

The number of families using the food pantry varies throughout the year.  The food pantry provides assistance to anywhere between 160-200 families each month
